Had comfortable stay for 3 nights on the arrival with accommodating staff and stunning location near public transport. I truly enjoyed that the studio included kitchenette. - the bed was comfy and there were a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and refrigerators.

I thought having a kitchen in a hotel would be nice.
Badly maintained and outdated. I dont think the photos on Booked.net are of this hotel. My room had a broken window, curtains that didnt shut and the subsidence in the building meant everything was sloping towards the stairwell. Including the "kitchen" this was a wardrobe with a sink and microwave, because of the slope none of the doors would close. The flatscreen tv was a 15" tube tv mounted from the ceiling and no remote. Apparently people kept stealing the batteries, so staff removed them all. W

The room we were allocated, number 10, had ripped chairs, curtains hanging off the rail and they were torn, poor decoration, and the toilet did not work. We complained and allocated another room number 17 at the top of the building. We could just get up the narrow stairs but there was no way we could get the luggage up there. We returned to reception and met another guest complaining, the lady was in tears. We decided not to stay but they refused to refund the money paid. Bookings.com are now trying to resolve the problem. Probably the worst accommodation we have stayed in

Location
£10 pounds/24hours for WiFi, sounds too backward. It should be free. The fresh towels provided were full of hairs.

Clean, easy to get to underground station, self contained
lots of stairs which would be difficult with heavy luggage and no lift that I could fine, no tea or coffee sachets in the room, no booklet in room telling you how to use tv, microwave etc
